My Good News

I don't know how to lead up to this, so I'll just say it.

I got a promotion!

Starting April 16th I will officially be the Health Initiatives Supervisor for the Office of Tobacco and Chronic Disease Prevention in the Maricopa County Public Health Department.  Wow, that's a mouthful.  But the bottom line is I get a small raise, an opportunity to expand my skills in an exciting new adventure and will be supervising 2 people.  

I'm very excited.  The work we'll be doing is still being defined, but will likely be in the area worksite wellness policies.  I'm very excited.
