Spontaneity

Spontaneity can be a great thing.  Like a spontaneous trip to my hometown. . .

Rigby is just a pretty little place, cold and windy much of the year, but can be heaven during the balmy summer months.  perfect temperatures, pretty sunsets and all the outdoor fun you can handle.  My parents have a big beautiful back lawn that's perfect for hours of fun on a warm summer night.


Some things change, like our old climbing trees that are now all gone except this one stump.  

But some things are still the same, like the swing set that's about as old as I am. . . 

















In any case, today was a mighty fine day.

Good food, good weather and good company made for a very good time.  Besides the events pictured above we had a few rounds of hide and seek, did a drawing contest, created an obstacle course that kept us going late into the night trying to best our times, and played frisbee and a variation on horseshoes with glow bracelets.  All due to the wonderful thing called spontaneity.
