My Freshman year in college, a neighbor of mine who hailed from Ohio (birthplace of aviation) would always argue about which was the better invention, the airplane or the television. We never really came to an agreement, but still had a great time coming up with points to build our side of the argument. Well today, I wish Kurtis were around to witness the bliss of of big cool TV. My roommate just bought a 42" HD flatscreen and I have to admit it's pretty cool. Not only is it much bigger than our old one, and we get all the HD channels, but for some reasons we suddenly get about 30 channels that we never got before. Or maybe we always got them and our old TV just didn't recognize them. In any case, we're happy clams tonight with our cool new TV and plethera of channels. We just might become couch potatoes with our new toy and will certainly enjoy American Idol on our BIG TV.
