Patriotism

I've felt very patriotic this week. I think it all began with being in NYC seeing sites like the statue of liberty and hearing about some of the experiences and changes since September 11th. It's a city rich in patriotic history and even though I don't know that I'd want to live there for any lengthy period of time (I'm still too much of a country girl I think - I like some space and nature) it was wonderful to be there. Last night, I went to a firework show in Chandler, and hanging out, enjoying the summer night with friends just made me grateful to be american. Happy Independence Day everyone!
